CREATIVE GUITAR WORKSHOP

Want to take your playing to the next level? Become a more creative player? Develop your own voice? Well Ariel Posen’s Creative Guitar Workshop is for you.

Ariel’s artistic brilliance has garnered widespread acclaim, earning him standing ovations from enraptured audiences and accolades from industry luminaries alike. With tone, technique and creativity for days, Ariel is ideally positioned to help you take your playing to the next level.

From the 13th to the 15th November 2026 inclusive, we will be in Aldershot, England, for our very special guitar workshop with ARIEL POSEN.

What Our Guests Say:

Guitar Breaks Secret Sauce!

“Guitar Breaks seem to have that secret sauce that allows musicians at any stage of their quest to find their next level and at the same time discover new friends, new ideas and even something about themselves that they didn’t know they had.”

Rick D.

The Creative Workshop

Throughout the workshop, Ariel will be focussing on some specific areas designed to unlock your true potential as a player. Topic areas YOU will be covering during the sessions include:

  • Improvising (building your solos and telling a story)
  • Effective rhythm playing (with a band or as a solo player)
  • Triads and inversions
  • Approaching slide
  • Harmony
  • Songwriting and composition
  • Being an artist or a hired musician
  • Tone generation (how to sound like you!)

…and much much more.

There will be dedicated sessions every morning and afternoon.

What Our Guests Say:

"I should have signed up sooner!"

“I was nervous to attend and play in front of others, and had put off signing-up for fear of this. Within a very short period I realised my fears were completely unfounded, as I was put at ease and encouraged by Paul and the rest of the group.

In such a supportive environment, it was easy to find my groove (sorry!) and I embraced the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone…My only regret is that I haven’t done this sooner!”

Ariel Posen

Ariel’s music occupies the space between genres. It’s a rootsy sound that nods to his influences — heartland rock & roll, electrified Americana, blue-eyed soul, R&B, Beatles-inspired pop — while still moving forward, pushing Ariel into territory that’s uniquely his own.

Along the way, Ariel had received standing ovations not only from his audiences, but also from outlets like Rolling Stone, who dubbed him “a modern-day guitar hero,” Music Radar listing him as a fan voted top 10 rock guitarist of the year and the Western Canadian Music Awards who nominated him for Breakout Artist of the Year in 2020 and 2021, as well as Rock Artist of the Year and Recording of the Year in 2022.

Ariel is a great friend to Guitar Breaks, has joined us many times over the years and his workshops have always been special. So we are delighted that he is joining us in England to spend some quality time working with you!

What Our Guests Say:

"It was so good!"

“It’s about 5 years since I first encountered Guitar Breaks at a three day workshop in Brighton. It was so good, I’ve been to nearly everything since!”
